We definitely agree. The question was great. For those that didn't see the clip a lady from the audience asked "When you do get your son back, will you allow the adoptive parents to be in Jackson's life?" Jake responded by "I will allow them the same response they gave me in the beginning, a few pictures a year, maybe a letter once a year to update how he is doing."
Wow, it's hard to stomach that last clip. Can you imagine if a mother had to secure her rights to parent her own child. If a father placed a child for adoption without a mother's consent it would be a whole other story. I just can't understand how people don't see that the best interest of the child lies with both parents making a decision whether that is to parent or place a child for adoption.
Great job Jake! I know you had be nervous you handled yourself with professionalism and with class. Keep positive and fight for the fathers that may not know how horrible these laws in Utah are. I am happy to see that you have been able to continue to show the world your story.
I just wish that it would show the lady's question for Jake, because it is one that a lot of people ask. Other than that it was amazing!

DeleteI don't blame him.... if I recall Jake did offer to let them visit if they dropped the adoption... and they refused.
