To: My Valentine

Dear Jack:

Today, February 14th is a holiday surrounded by love. I have so much love in my heart for you and I think about you all day long. I wanted to give you a valentine in person, but this will have to do for now. I hope this is the only holiday I have to spend without you.

Grandma and Grandpa bought you and your cousin Boston matching snowsuits and outfits to wear next year, and I can't wait to see you two play together. I can't wait to go sledding with you and build a snowman. There is too many fun things I can't wait to experience with you. Your cousin and family went to the aquarium on Sunday and I wish you were here to go see the penguins. We will go to the aquarium as soon as you come home, I PROMISE.

Grandpa brought you a baby elephant stuffed animal home from his road trip to Portland this past weekend. I put it in your crib along with the other animals he has bought you.

Daddy also bought you 2 new books to read to you when you get home. I think you will really like them! They are really colorful and have lots of fun, bright pictures.

Jack, I promise I will make up the lost time that we have had. I will be the best dad in the world and I can't wait to see your precious sweet face.

I love you and can't wait to see you :)

Love always,

daddy
